Brief outline of achievements
  • General theory of approximation of differential equations in Banach spaces is developed
  • Theorems on stability of Pade approximations are proved, in particular, Crank-Nikolson scheme in a Banach space are investigated
  • Established convergence theorems on approximations of semilinear Cauchy problems and problems with periodic solutions
  • Developed the general perturbation theory of semigroups and cosine operator functions
  • Investigated fundamental properties of resolution families of operators such as compactness, asymptotical behaviour at infinity, almost periodicity e.c. (see for details in CV)
Teaching
  • Gave lectures on differential equations, linear algebra, analysis; also special courses on approximation of semigroups of operators
